FACULTY:

The learned faculty of this college is well qualified, trained and widely experienced. Each teacher has got deep concern for all round development of the student. The faculty members plan and prepare well for their classroom activities. Each teacher tries to ensure transparency and accountability.

COLLEGE GYMKHANA:

The Principal is the head of college gymkhana and chairpersons for various departments are nominated from the staff. Student representatives are also included
in it. It organizes and conducts various activities like sports and games. The college union holds debate, elocution, social and cultural activities. The college has got a playground suitable for all kinds of games.

LIBRARY:

Ours is well established library with nearly 4000 books worth Rs. 14,50,000. News papers, periodicals and journals published in various languages are readily available for students’ use. A month before the each semester examination, Library will be kept open up to 9.00 pm for studies. Issue part of the Library activity is computerized and 6 computers are kept for students use at the search point in the Library. Broadband facility is provided in the Library.

MULTY-GYM:

The College offers the most perfectly equipped Gymnasium centre for both boys and girls on time division basis. This facility is available also for public, who fulfils the basic eligibility.

SWIMMING POOL:

Swimming pool has been constructed in the year 2005 and is being used by students of our college and public of Jamkhandi.

INDOOR STADIUM:

Management has constructed Indoor stadium at the estimated cost of Rs.1.20 Crore with financial assistance from UGC.

VOLLEY BALL COURT:

Management has constructed Volley Ball Court with Flood Light facility at the estimated cost of Rs. 20 lakh with financial assistance from UGC.

There are two N.S.S. Units in our college with strength of 100 students each. The main objective is “Not Me, But You”, which says that “Community but not the individual is important”. The students can develop overall personality by participating in NSS Regular activities. Special programmes like AIDS Awareness, Pulse Polio, Blood Donation, Literacy, Communal Harmony, Sanitation, Health and Hygiene, National Festivals and many other social services will be conducted. A special camp of 7 days is organized every year in the adopted village where in all the volunteers get a practical experience of the rural life. The selected volunteers will participate in Republic Day Parade at Bangalore.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME(NSS):

About 50 service-minded students, both Boys & Girls will be selected as N.S.S. volunteers. These volunteers will be trained and examined to prove their discipline,
service, dedication and hard working nature for others. They are guided to take up social service & responsibility.

YOUTH RED CROSS:

College offers golden opportunity to serve the society under YRC scheme as volunteers, with proper guidance for social and personal leadership.

COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS COACHING:

The centre helps the talented students to hone their skills to achieve the needed competitive instinct to hit the bull’s eye in the major competitive examinations like civil services, Banking, Police services, etc.

ENGLISH GRAMMAR COACHING CENTER:

As Grammar is the foundation of the language, college trains the students to enhance their grammar skills in English. Every day’s special classes are conducted for coaching of grammar.

INTERNET:

The computer laboratory has Internet facility to acquaint the staff and the students with electronic communication world.

MEDICAL CHECKUP:

Health Check up of the students will be conducted once in a year.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION:

There is an alumni association of this college. Students who leave or pass out of the college are requested to enroll as members. The association keeps the members
informed informed about the events happening. It will also work to keep old students associated with the college through letters and periodic reunions.

HOSTEL:

There are hostel facilities for both Boys and Girls students of the institution. 200 Boys who are non-local will be accommodated in Boys hostel. 350 Girls are accommodated in the ladies hostel. A separate warden and menial staff look after the hostel activities. There is telephone facility in both the hostel.
